French Enduro Champion Bellino Returns to Off-Road Riding with Segway

Paris – September 09, 2026 -- French enduro champion Mathias Bellino is beginning a new chapter in off-road riding with support from Segway Powersports, which has provided him with a Super Villain SX20T side-by-side vehicle.

Bellino built his career from motocross roots to world enduro titles

Bellino won the World Junior Enduro Championship in 2012 and the World Enduro E3 Championship in 2015. He was also part of French teams that won the ISDE World Junior Trophy three years running, from 2011 to 2013. Raised in a family passionate about motorcycles, he began riding at age four before progressing through motocross into elite enduro competition.

A 2018 rally crash in Argentina ended his professional racing career

In August 2018, during his first cross-country rally -- the Desafio Ruta 40 in Argentina -- Bellino suffered a serious spinal injury while preparing to compete in the Rally Dakar. The accident ended his career as a professional rider, but not his ties to motorsport. He later returned to the EnduroGP paddock as team manager for Honda ORC and has continued looking for ways to stay involved in the off-road community.

The Super Villain SX20T offers a new way to experience the terrain

With the Super Villain SX20T, Bellino is exploring a different relationship with off-road riding. The sport utility vehicle is built around what drew him to the sport in the first place: being outdoors, taking in the landscape, and sharing the experience with others.

For Bellino, this stage is not about recreating his racing past but about moving forward on his own terms. Segway Powersports is backing the effort as part of its focus on exploration and adventure-driven riding.
