LiberNovo Unveils Maxis Chair for Big & Tall Users at IFA 2026

Hong Kong – September 09, 2026 -- LiberNovo is showcasing its new Maxis Series ergonomic chair, built specifically for taller, broader and heavier users, at IFA 2026 in Berlin, running September 4 to 8 at Messe Berlin, Hall 7, Stand 7.2a-105.

Maxis chair adds 52 cm seat depth for larger frames
Unlike chairs simply scaled up in size, Maxis was engineered from the ground up with a 52 cm (20.5-inch) seat depth, a wider cushion, a reinforced frame, an aluminum-alloy base and four-direction armrests. The design targets long work, gaming and creative sessions where standard seating often falls short for bigger builds.

All three Maxis variants -- Manual, Electric and Airflow -- offer a five-stage recline ranging from 105° to 160°. The Manual version uses a knob to adjust lumbar depth, while the Electric model adds motorized lumbar support plus OmniStretch, a guided back-stretching feature. The Airflow version includes active seat ventilation for use in warmer environments.

Omni Pro earns two IFA Innovation Award nominations
Alongside Maxis, LiberNovo is displaying its Omni Pro and Omni SE chairs at the same stand. Omni Pro combines motorized lumbar adjustment, OmniStretch and Active Airflow, and has been nominated in two IFA Innovation Awards categories: Best in Design and Best in Tech for Good & Accessibility. Omni SE, adjusted manually, serves as an entry-level option within LiberNovo's Dynamic Ergonomics lineup.

LiberNovo donates Omni chairs to Special Olympics New York offices
LiberNovo is sponsoring Special Olympics New York with a donation of Omni ergonomic chairs for office teams at the organization's Albany headquarters, its NYC office and its Long Island office. The chairs are intended for staff who coordinate programs, manage volunteers and build community support behind the scenes.

Media, retail partners and visitors can view the Maxis Series in person at Hall 7, Stand 7.2a-105 through September 8.
