BTL Launches Laser Division, Unveils EXOLASE ONE Fusion Erbium System

Prague – September 07, 2026 -- BTL has established a dedicated laser division and will launch its flagship EXOLASE ONE system, the first medical application of fused erbium laser technology, marking the company's sixth core business line.

EXOLASE ONE merges multiple erbium wavelengths into a single beam

The system combines several erbium laser wavelengths into one light beam, treating the same tissue location simultaneously. BTL states this creates a new form of laser-tissue interaction that overcomes prior limitations in clinical efficacy, treatment speed and patient comfort for facial rejuvenation lasers.

Clinical researcher reports full-face treatment in under 10 minutes

Dr. Reha Yavuzer, one of the first clinical researchers on the platform, said the technology covers treatment areas that typically require multiple ablative and non-ablative systems, condensing the procedure into a full-face treatment completed in under 10 minutes.

BTL CEO Tomas Schwarz calls the launch a historic moment for the company

Schwarz said the company always believed only a genuinely breakthrough technology could establish a true laser powerhouse, and that feedback from pioneering clinical centers worldwide confirmed EXOLASE ONE meets that threshold.

Global rollout targets aesthetic medicine and dermatology starting in 2027

Following an early-access program for select key opinion leaders, EXOLASE ONE will launch globally in 2027, with initial focus on aesthetic medicine and dermatology. The new laser division joins BTL's existing business segments in aesthetics, mental wellness, rehabilitation, cardiology and robotics.
