TCL Turns Gamescom 2026 Into an OLED Playground for Tides of Annihilation

Cologne, Germany – September 03, 2026 -- TCL has been named the 2026 European Monitor & TV Partner of Tides of Annihilation, the upcoming fantasy action-adventure game from Eclipse Glow Games, and is powering the title's public demo at Gamescom 2026 in Hall 6, Booth B-050.

Visitors can play the demo on TCL's 32X3A OLED+ Monitors and 75-inch TCL C8L SQD-Mini LED TVs, testing how the game's dynamic lighting and fast combat render across different screen technologies.

Tides of Annihilation reimagines London as a battleground between worlds

Developed by Eclipse Glow Games, a Chengdu-based studio with over 150 developers who previously worked on Yakuza, For Honor, Assassin's Creed, Persona and Prince of Persia, the single-player game follows survivor Gwendolyn through a modern London ravaged by an 'Outworld Invasion.' Her journey stretches between the ruined city and the mythical realm of Avalon, drawing on Arthurian legend as she tries to save her sister and uncover the source of her new powers.

The TCL 32X3A monitor switches between 240Hz 4K and 480Hz 1080p modes

The 32X3A, TCL's first flagship OLED+ monitor and winner of the 2026 iF Design Award and Red Dot Design Award, offers dual-mode refresh rates of UHD 240Hz or FHD 480Hz alongside a 0.03ms GtG response time. Its near-borderless design and built-in Bang & Olufsen audio are aimed at keeping players focused on combat without needing external speakers.

The 75-inch C8L TV hits 5,500 nits with 2,584 dimming zones

For large-screen play, the C8L SQD-Mini LED TV delivers up to HDR 5,500 nits peak brightness across 2,584 dimming zones, paired with a native 144Hz refresh rate and VRR support. Dolby Atmos sound through Bang & Olufsen audio rounds out the setup for fast camera shifts and combat sequences.

Stefan Streit, CMO at TCL Europe, said gamers now expect zero lag and vivid visual fidelity, and that the partnership demonstrates how TCL's TV and monitor lineup is built to meet those demands for audiences across Europe.
