ZIBO, China – September 03, 2026 -- INTCO Medical (300677.SZ) reported first-half 2026 revenue of 6.91 billion RMB (approximately $1.03 billion), a 40.61% increase year-over-year, as the disposable glove maker expanded its annualized production capacity to 107 billion units, the largest globally.
Adjusted profit surges 165% as production scales
Net income attributable to shareholders rose 17.86% to 837.3 million RMB (approximately $124.6 million) for the six months ended June 30, 2026. Adjusted net income, excluding non-recurring gains and losses, climbed 165.00% to 1.06 billion RMB (approximately $157.7 million).
Capacity split favors nitrile over vinyl production
Of the 107 billion units in annualized capacity, 74 billion are nitrile disposable gloves and 33 billion are vinyl disposable gloves. The company's integrated value chain spans nitrile latex sourcing, R&D, production equipment manufacturing, glove production, and global commercialization. INTCO holds majority or equity stakes in nitrile latex manufacturers, a structure it says stabilizes raw material supply and cushions the impact of crude oil price swings on input costs.
R&D spending rises 20.6% to fund new glove lines
Research and development expenditure increased 20.62% to 245.9 million RMB (approximately $36.6 million) during the period. The company advanced its SyntexTM synthetic latex gloves, which contain no natural latex proteins and offer high elasticity and puncture resistance, alongside Synmax Pro vinyl examination gloves aimed at foodservice and industrial applications. INTCO also launched new safety work gloves and household gloves during the half.
New 1.6-kilometer production line pushes yield above 99%
The company's latest nitrile glove production line spans more than 1.6 kilometers and incorporates approximately 500 control points. A distributed precision control system automatically manages temperature and liquid levels according to production conditions, cutting labor and energy consumption while maintaining stable output. The glove production yield rate stayed above 99% throughout the period.
