Net profit rises 17.86% while adjusted earnings surge 165%
Net profit attributable to shareholders climbed 17.86% to 837.3 million RMB (approximately $124.6 million). Stripping out non-recurring gains and losses, adjusted net profit attributable to shareholders rose 165.00% to 1.06 billion RMB (approximately $157.7 million), indicating core operating performance outpaced headline earnings growth.
Capacity split favors nitrile over vinyl at 74:33 billion units
Of the 107 billion-unit annual capacity, 74 billion units are disposable nitrile gloves and 33 billion units are disposable vinyl gloves. The company's integrated value chain spans nitrile latex production, R&D, core equipment manufacturing, glove production and global distribution. Majority and minority stakes in nitrile latex producers give INTCO control over raw material supply, helping insulate costs from swings in international crude oil prices while improving supply stability.
R&D spending climbs 20.62% to fund new synthetic glove lines
Research and development expenditure increased 20.62% to 245.9 million RMB (approximately $36.6 million) during the period. The company advanced its Syntex Synthetic Latex Gloves, a proprietary product free of natural latex proteins with high elasticity and puncture resistance, alongside Synmax Pro Exam Gloves, an upgraded vinyl glove targeted at foodservice and industrial applications. INTCO also launched labor-protection gloves and household gloves to address varied end-market demand.
New 1.6-kilometer nitrile production line pushes yield above 99%
INTCO's latest nitrile glove production line spans more than 1.6 kilometers and incorporates roughly 500 control points. A distributed control system automatically regulates temperature and fluid levels based on production conditions, reducing labor and energy requirements while stabilizing output. Glove production yield remained above 99% throughout the reporting period.
