Owner of plane identified from deadly crash
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - WMTV 15 is learning more about the deadly plane crash in the Town of Dellona that killed six people on Tuesday night.
We know the plane took off from Kenosha and was headed to Menomonie, Wisconsin, which is in Dunn County.
Based on that flight path information, and multiple government public records, we were able to connect the high-performance single engine plane to an LLC. owned by Ronald Riek of Woodville, Wisconsin.
Woodville is about 30 minutes from Menomonie.
We also know that Riek is a licensed pilot and local business owner. We do not know if he was on the plane or flying it when it crashed.
Our reporters tried to get in touch with him over the phone this afternoon and were unsuccessful.
We do not know the names of the six people who died at this time, but we will continue to work to bring you more information.
