Havoc Awarded SBIR Phase III Contract by Army Applications Laboratory for Multi-Domain Mission Collaborative Autonomy

PROVIDENCE, R.I., Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Havoc, the collaborative autonomy software company, today announced it has been awarded a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III contract from the Army Applications Laboratory (AAL). The award will fund continued development of Havoc's collaborative-autonomy capabilities for logistics resupply across multiple hardware platforms.

The contract builds on Havoc's work under xTech Overwatch, where the company's technology was selected from a field of more than 40 competing vendors. Since then, Havoc's team has worked to demonstrate that its autonomy software can operate across domains, orchestrating the delivery of critical resupply to Soldiers via both air and ground platforms.

"This award does more than fund the next phase of our work with the Army," said Paul Lwin, CEO of Havoc. "The Phase III designation means any agency in the federal government, not just the Department of War, can now bring Havoc on board through a streamlined, non-competitive path, drawing on the work we've already proven out. We built this technology to solve a Department of War logistics problem, and now the door is open for it to solve similar problems anywhere in government."

Havoc credited the Army Applications Laboratory and the SBIR program with creating a pathway that moves quickly from demonstrated capability to fielded contract.

Under the new contract, Havoc will expand its multi-domain capabilities to orchestrate the delivery of critical resupply to Soldiers via air and ground platforms, in direct response to a need identified by its customer at Overwatch/Pegasus Charge, 1st Cavalry Division.
