Logisnext Americas Grants Make-A-Wish Trip for Houston Child

Houston – October 05, 2026 -- Logisnext Americas hosted a wish-reveal event on Sept. 30 at its newly built Customer Experience Center in Houston, surprising six-year-old Elena, who lives with leukemia, with news that her family vacation wish will be granted this fall.

Logisnext Americas extends second-year sponsorship of Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana

The material handling and automation manufacturer is continuing as a corporate sponsor of the regional Make-A-Wish chapter for a second consecutive year, funding wish experiences for children in the communities where its employees work.

Princess-themed event drew company staff, family and community partners

The celebration featured a princess dress-up station, bracelet-making activities and a visit from the Houston Humane Society, which brought adoptable dogs for attendees. Elena's wish reveal was followed by remarks from Logisnext Americas and Make-A-Wish representatives confirming the trip plans.

Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana granted 607 wishes in fiscal year 2026

The chapter, one of 57 across the U.S. and its territories, has granted more than 12,600 wishes since its founding in 1984. Make-A-Wish operates in 50 countries and has granted over 650,000 wishes globally since 1980.

"Seeing Elena's reaction to the wish reveal was a special moment for our team," said Berry Mansfield, president of Logisnext Americas. Shelly Millwee, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana, credited Logisnext Americas' support for making the celebration possible.
