Lucid Deliveries Outpace Output in Q3 as Inventory Reset Continues

Newark, Calif. – October 05, 2026 -- Lucid Group delivered 3,806 vehicles in the third quarter of 2026 while producing only 2,954 units, as the electric vehicle maker pushed forward with an operating reset aimed at unlocking $1.4 billion in cash flow improvements this year.

Deliveries outpace production as Lucid clears existing vehicle stock

The gap between output and deliveries reflects a deliberate inventory drawdown, with Lucid converting previously built vehicles into customer deliveries rather than ramping new production. The company said demand for its Gravity model regained momentum during the quarter.

Production falls sequentially after AMP-1 second shift elimination

Output declined from the prior quarter, consistent with Lucid's June decision to eliminate a second manufacturing shift at its AMP-1 facility. The move aligns production volumes with near-term demand as part of the broader cost and efficiency overhaul announced earlier in 2026.

Lucid noted that production and delivery figures represent only one measure of operating performance and should not be treated as the sole indicator of quarterly financial results, which will be disclosed separately.

Lucid sets November 9 earnings call with retail shareholder Q&A

Lucid will report full third-quarter financial results and provide an update on its operating reset priorities during a conference call scheduled for November 9, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. PT. The company is partnering with Say Technologies to let retail and institutional shareholders submit and upvote questions ahead of the call, with the submission window opening October 23, 2026, and closing November 6, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. PT.
