Pittsburgh – – October 05, 2026 -- An inventor from Statesville, N.C., has developed the TIP HOOK, a device designed to let forklifts safely lift and suspend heavy objects for temporary storage or relocation within warehouses and construction sites.
Device enables forklift-based suspension in low-headroom spaces
The TIP HOOK attaches to the dual spaced forks of a forklift, allowing operators to hang heavy items even where ceiling clearance is limited. The inventor said the goal was to create "a very safe and reliable means of lifting and suspending heavy objects via a forklift," targeting facilities where floor space is constrained.
Design targets space efficiency and operational safety in industrial settings
By enabling items to be suspended rather than stored on the floor, the device is intended to free up valuable space in cramped warehouse and yard environments. The inventor noted the design also aims to increase handling safety and efficiency compared with conventional floor-based temporary storage methods.
Submission filed through InventHelp's Charlotte office seeks licensing partners
The original design was submitted to InventHelp's Charlotte sales office and is now available for licensing or sale to manufacturers and marketers serving the material-handling, construction, and industrial equipment sectors. The invention is cataloged under reference Dept. 25-CNC-1163.
