HavenLock Names 30-Year Security Veteran Jason Lutz SVP of Sales

Nashville, Tenn. – – October 05, 2026 -- HavenLock, Inc. has appointed Jason Lutz as Senior Vice President of Sales and Channel, tasking the 30-year security-industry veteran with building out the dealer network ahead of the national rollout of its Haven Gen4 access-control platform.

Lutz will direct channel strategy as Haven shifts from launch to national distribution

Lutz will work directly with distributors, dealers, and systems integrators to build channel programs and partner support, reporting to Chief Commercial Officer John Heller. The hire follows a series of leadership additions Haven has made in 2026 to strengthen its channel infrastructure before the Gen4 national rollout, with further build-out details expected in coming weeks.

Lutz's career spans three decades, including 24 years at Resideo

Lutz began his security-industry career in 1992 in sales with a national security company in Houston, Texas, later relocating to Nashville where he spent a decade owning and operating his own security company. In 2002, he joined Resideo (formerly Ademco/Honeywell) as District Manager for the Midwest region, holding leadership roles in National Accounts and Industry Affairs over a 24-year tenure, most recently as Director of the company's Brand Ambassador Program.

Lutz holds multiple industry board positions and chairs a nonprofit

He has served on the Electronic Security Association Board of Directors, the Security Industry Alarm Coalition Board of Directors, the Alarm Industry Communications Committee, and the Security Industry Association Executive Advisory Board. He currently chairs Mission 500, the industry's nonprofit supporting children and communities in need, and has advocated for the security industry on Capitol Hill.
