Pro Shop Closes $24M Series B Led by Arthur Blank's AMBSE

Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. – October 05, 2026 -- Pro Shop, the golf media and commerce platform, has closed a $24 million Series B financing round led by Arthur M. Blank Sports and Entertainment (AMBSE), bringing new investors Causeway Media Partners and Ares Sports, Media and Entertainment funds into the cap table.

Returning backers include PGA Tour and two prior venture partners

Existing investors PGA Tour, Powerhouse Capital and Phoenix Capital Ventures re-upped in the round, which follows a $20 million Series A closed in 2024 under the leadership of Powerhouse Capital with participation from EP Golf Ventures, Marquee Ventures and Gametime Capital. Gunderson Dettmer served as legal counsel to Pro Shop on the transaction.

Pro Shop reaches 35 million users and has doubled revenue year over year

In just over two years of operation, the company says it has built a multi-platform footprint spanning premium film and television, digital and creator-led programming, live competition, and consumer brands, doubling revenue on an annual basis. Capital from the round will fund digital media expansion, original content and IP, new talent-led franchises, live competition formats, and continued build-out of its owned commerce businesses, alongside potential acquisitions across golf, media and technology.

PGA Tour Superstore CEO Troy Rice joins the Pro Shop board

Troy Rice, CEO of PGA TOUR Superstore, an AMBSE company, joins Pro Shop's board as part of AMBSE's lead investment. Chad Mumm, Co-Founder and President of Pro Shop, said the company was built to meet modern golf fans across new platforms and formats, and that the fresh capital extends that strategy into backing talent, new formats and broader cultural crossover for the sport.

Pro Shop Studios has produced Netflix's Full Swing and co-produced Happy Gilmore 2

The company's studio arm has also co-produced The Hawk and expanded into live competition through the PGA Tour's Creator Classic and the revival of The Skins Game, which returned in November 2025 after a 17-year hiatus as part of Prime Video's Black Friday sports lineup. Pro Shop's broader portfolio includes GolfWRX, the equipment-focused media and forums site acquired in 2025, lifestyle brand Sugarloaf Social Club, and Paige Co., its media venture with golf creator Paige Spiranac.
