Atlanta – – October 05, 2026 -- Fusion Connect's Board of Directors has appointed Brian McClintock as Chief Executive Officer and a board member, effective immediately, ending his tenure as Interim CEO that began in August 2026.
McClintock moves from CFO to permanent chief executive
McClintock previously served three years as Fusion Connect's Chief Financial Officer before stepping into the interim CEO role. He brings more than two decades of executive experience from Fusion Connect, Impact Telecom, KDDI Global and New Global Telecom, spanning finance, operations and organizational transformation.
Customer metrics underpin board's confidence in leadership transition
During his time as CFO and interim CEO, McClintock oversaw an operational transformation that the company credits with a Net Promoter Score of +50 and a customer satisfaction rating of 4.7 out of 5.0. Board Chairman Dudley Slater said the board was unanimous in selecting McClintock to lead the company's next growth phase, citing his operational, service and financial results.
Strategy targets convergence of cloud communications, security and AI
Fusion Connect positions its portfolio—spanning managed connectivity, UCaaS, CCaaS, SD-WAN and managed security—around the convergence of cloud communications, connectivity, security and AI for business customers. McClintock said his focus will be on accelerating growth, strengthening partnerships, and helping customers simplify and modernize how they connect, communicate and collaborate.
