Holland America Adds New Alaska Cruises, Expands Denali Lodge for 2027

Seattle – October 05, 2026 -- Holland America Line will mark 80 years sailing Alaska in 2027 with a new eight-day Inside Passage cruise, expanded Denali Lodge rooms and the return of a 28-day Arctic Circle voyage.

Six ships will sail Alaska from April through September 2027

Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Westerdam and Zaandam will depart from Seattle, Vancouver and Whittier, Alaska. The new eight-day "Alaska Inside Passage" cruise runs roundtrip from Vancouver, stopping at Glacier Bay, Skagway, Ketchikan and Prince Rupert, British Columbia.

The 28-day "Legendary Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice" cruise returns for a third year aboard Noordam, departing June 6 from Seattle and sailing into the Bering Sea and Arctic Circle. Noordam will also offer a seven-day "Great Bear Rainforest" cruise, while Zaandam runs two 18-day "Great Bear Rainforest & Alaska Explorer" sailings.

Denali Lodge gains 72 new rooms by 2027

Holland America Denali Lodge will add two new guest buildings, increasing capacity by 72 rooms, alongside a redesign of the Main Lodge interiors and a full renovation of its Grizzly Grind coffee shop. The property sits at the entrance to Denali National Park and Preserve.

2026 season included more than 150 glacier-viewing opportunities

Guests this past season visited Glacier Bay National Park, Hubbard Glacier, Dawes Glacier and Endicott Arm, with shore excursions to Mendenhall and Portage glaciers. Chef Ethan Stowell redesigned Denali Lodge menus around local ingredients, and bartender Sam Ross created an exclusive fleet-wide cocktail menu including Glacial Ice Cocktails.

Holland America donated more than $320,000 to Alaska communities in 2026

The company contributed to organizations in Anchorage, Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan and Denali, including a $75,000 commitment to Ketchikan American Legion Post 3 and $5,000 to Scouting America Troops 4 and 2004 through its Pennies program. It also gave $150,000 to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center for animal care and the Holland America Moose Promenade, while guests raised more than $60,000 for Alaska Geographic through the On Deck for a Cause initiative.
