Superior Hydrovac Acquires Delta Daylighting, Expands Houston Footprint

Houston – October 05, 2026 -- Superior Hydrovac has acquired Delta Daylighting, a Houston-based hydrovac and daylighting services provider, expanding the hydrovac operating capacity of parent company Peak Utility Services Group in one of the nation's most active utility infrastructure markets.

Deal expands Peak's hydrovac capacity in the Houston market

The acquisition adds Delta's management team, employees, and longstanding customer relationships to Superior Hydrovac's existing platform. Delta's operations will be fully integrated into Superior Hydrovac, giving the combined entity access to Superior's operating infrastructure, safety programs, and customer base.

Peak executive calls the deal a strategic addition to growing hydrovac business

"Delta represents a highly strategic addition to our growing hydrovac business," said Chris Reinmiller, Chief Operating Officer of Peak Utility Services Group. He said the combination expands Peak's operating footprint in Houston and strengthens its ability to serve existing and new customers across the region.

Transaction supports excavation services for electric, gas and telecom infrastructure

The deal reinforces Peak's capacity to deliver non-destructive excavation services for electric, natural gas, telecommunications, and other critical infrastructure projects. Joe Russom, Director of Operations for Superior Hydrovac, said the acquisition aims to build a stronger organization rather than simply a larger one, combining the experience and capabilities of both companies to expand resources for customers and employees.

Peak Utility Services Group said it remains focused on investing in utility and infrastructure service businesses, supporting long-term growth through operational expertise, strategic resources, and capital investment.
