Stockholm – October 05, 2026 -- Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson repurchased additional Class B shares between September 28 and October 2, 2026, lifting its treasury stock holding to 117,888,663 Class B shares.
Ericsson executes buybacks under a SEK 15 billion repurchase program
The transactions form part of a share buyback program of up to SEK 15,000,000,000 that Ericsson announced on April 16, 2026. The program runs from April 23, 2026, through March 31, 2027, at the latest.
Goldman Sachs handles trades on Nasdaq Stockholm
All acquisitions during the period were carried out on Nasdaq Stockholm by Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE on Ericsson's behalf. The repurchases were executed under EU Regulation No 596/2014 on market abuse (MAR) and the related Safe Harbour Regulation of March 8, 2016.
Board plans share cancellation at 2027 AGM
Ericsson's Board of Directors intends to propose to the 2027 Annual General Meeting that the repurchased shares be cancelled, except for those required to fulfil obligations under the company's share-related incentive programs.
Total share count stands at over 3.37 billion
Following the latest repurchases, Ericsson has a total of 3,371,351,735 shares outstanding, comprising 261,755,983 Class A shares and 3,109,595,752 Class B shares.
