The Willoughby-based company's ranking reflects expansion across four operating lines: brazing alloy manufacturing, precision laser-cutting, ring manufacturing and precious-metal refining. The growth period measured by Inc. covers the three years preceding the 2026 ranking.

AMP Rings acquisition in 2023 drove manufacturing expansion

Alexy Metals integrated AMP Rings into its operations in 2023, followed by what the company described as significant expansion of that division's manufacturing footprint in Northeast Ohio. The acquisition accompanied parallel growth in the company's laser-cutting and precious-metal refining segments.

Brothers in their 20s run day-to-day operations alongside father

Finn and Bowen Alexy, both in their early 20s, serve as Co-Chief Operating Officers and have taken on expanded roles in the company's operations alongside their father, Grayson Alexy. "Being named to the Inc. 5000 is an incredible recognition of what our entire team has built together," said Finn Alexy, Co-Chief Operating Officer.

Company supplies aerospace, medical and automotive manufacturers

Alexy Metals produces custom wire and band rings, laser-cut preforms, brazing wire, foil and paste, alongside precious-metal refining services, from a 52,000-square-foot headquarters in Willoughby. The manufacturer holds ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certifications and serves hundreds of customers across the United States in aerospace, medical, automotive and electronics industries.

Cleveland-area firms feature prominently in 2026 Inc. 5000

Alexy Metals was also counted among Greater Cleveland companies recognized on the 2026 Inc. 5000, part of a broader showing of growth among Northeast Ohio manufacturers on this year's list.
