The Article Outlines Key Factors That Affect Settlement Timelines and Explains Why Complex Truck Accident Cases Often Take Longer to Resolve.

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Oct. 19, 2026/PRNewswire/ -- The Article Outlines Key Factors That Affect Settlement Timelines and Explains Why Complex Truck Accident Cases Often Take Longer to Resolve.

How long does it take to settle a truck accident case in Memphis, Tennessee? A HelloNation article explores the factors that shape the truck accident claims timeline and why outcomes can vary widely.

The HelloNation article notes that a truck accident settlement in Memphis, TN, can take anywhere from a few months to more than a year, depending on injury severity and case complexity. It explains that while some claims resolve quickly, others require extended review to ensure all damages are properly calculated. The article emphasizes that understanding the full timeline of injury claim settlements helps individuals set realistic expectations.

According to the article, one of the main contributors to delays in personal injury cases in Tennessee is the detailed nature of a commercial vehicle accident investigation. Unlike standard car accidents, truck crashes often involve reviewing driver logs, maintenance records, and vehicle electronic data. The article explains that this level of analysis is necessary to determine fault and establish truck accident liability in Memphis, but it also extends the time needed to reach a resolution.

The article also notes that multiple parties are often involved in trucking accident insurance claims. These may include the truck driver, the trucking company, maintenance providers, and insurance carriers. When responsibility is shared, negotiations become more complex. The article describes how disputes over truck accident liability in Memphis can lead to longer discussions and additional documentation requests, further extending the truck accident claims timeline.

Another key factor discussed is medical treatment. The HelloNation article explains that injured individuals are often advised to wait until they reach maximum medical improvement before finalizing a truck accident settlement in Memphis, TN. This ensures the claim includes both current and future medical needs. The article notes that settling too early can result in compensation that does not fully cover long-term care, underscoring the importance of patience in the injury claim settlement timeline.

The article further explains that insurance companies play a significant role in delays in personal injury cases in Tennessee. In high-value trucking accident insurance claims, insurers typically conduct thorough reviews and may challenge the extent of injuries or damages. This can lead to prolonged negotiations and additional requests for evidence, which can extend the time it takes to settle a case.

Court involvement is another factor that can influence the timeline. The article describes how some cases require litigation when a fair agreement cannot be reached through negotiation. In these situations, court schedules and procedural requirements may add months to the timeline for truck accident claims. While many cases settle before trial, the possibility of litigation remains an important consideration.

Injury severity also directly affects the length of the commercial vehicle accident investigation and settlement process. The article explains that cases involving minor injuries often resolve more quickly, while those involving serious or catastrophic harm take longer to evaluate medical costs, lost income, and long-term care needs. These elements are critical to determining fair compensation in trucking accident insurance claims.

The article concludes that every truck accident settlement in Memphis, TN, follows its own path, shaped by unique circumstances. Factors such as evidence collection, medical recovery, liability disputes, and insurance review all contribute to delays in personal injury cases in Tennessee. By understanding these variables, individuals can better navigate the process and make informed decisions.

Residential and Commercial Construction Expert Steve Shute Explains How to Choose a Residential Concrete Contractor in HelloNation

The Article Outlines How Experience, Site Preparation, Communication, and Detailed Estimates Can Help Homeowners Evaluate Concrete Contractors

RICHMOND, Ind., Oct. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- What should homeowners look for when choosing a residential concrete contractor? HelloNation published an article that answers this question, featuring insights from Steve Shute of Smarrelli General Contractors in Richmond, Indiana,

The HelloNation article explains that choosing a residential concrete contractor involves more than comparing estimates. Concrete driveways, patios, sidewalks, and foundations must withstand weather, moisture, weight, and regular use for years. The article notes that preparation and workmanship can directly affect how the finished concrete performs.

Experience is one of the first factors homeowners should consider. The article recommends looking for a concrete contractor with a history of completing projects similar to the planned work. For example, contractors experienced with concrete driveways may better understand the grading, drainage, reinforcement, and finishing those installations require.

The article also encourages homeowners to understand local licensing and insurance requirements before hiring a concrete contractor. These requirements can vary by state and community. Appropriate insurance may provide important protection if an injury or property damage occurs during a concrete project.

According to the article, a detailed estimate can provide useful insight into how the contractor approaches the job. It should describe the scope of work, materials, preparation, and major costs. Homeowners should also understand which circumstances could change the final price after construction begins.

Site preparation is another major consideration the article discusses. Preparation can include excavation, grading, base compaction, and drainage improvements around the work area. For a concrete driveway, these steps help the surface support vehicle loads while withstanding weather and changing ground conditions.

The article also notes that contractors should discuss reinforcement and finishing methods before installation. The right approach depends on soil conditions, climate, expected loads, and the type of concrete project. Residential and Commercial Construction Expert Steve Shute provides insights in the article, explaining why contractors should be able to clearly describe these decisions.

Communication matters throughout the project. The article advises homeowners to discuss the expected schedule, site access, curing time, and responsibilities before and after installation. Because weather can affect concrete work, homeowners should also understand how changing conditions might alter the project timeline.

Price remains a consideration, but the article explains why comparing final numbers alone may provide an incomplete picture. Differences in excavation, base preparation, concrete specifications, reinforcement, or finishing can affect estimates. Comparing the actual scope of each proposal can help homeowners understand what they are receiving for the quoted price.

References and examples of completed work can provide further information. The article suggests asking about projects completed several years earlier because older concrete may show how workmanship has held up through changing seasons and regular use. This can be especially useful when evaluating concrete driveways and other heavily used surfaces.

The HelloNation article concludes that experience, site preparation, communication, and attention to detail all contribute to a successful installation. Residential and Commercial Construction Expert Steve Shute provides insights featured in the article to help homeowners understand the practical considerations involved in selecting a contractor.

The new ship sets sail this November on the popular luxury cruise line's Egyptian journey, alongside seven additions to the company's fleet

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla., Oct. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael Consoli, the owner of Cruise Planners – Michael Consoli & Associates, has been selected by Viking to serve as godfather of the new Viking Sekhmet, one of seven new river ships release by the company and being named this year.

The honor marks another significant milestone in Consoli's more than 25-year career in the travel industry. Based in Atlanta, Consoli is one of the travel industry's leading cruise and river cruise specialists and has been recognized as Viking's No. 1 global-producing travel advisor for 10 consecutive years, an achievement that reflects both the extraordinary volume of Viking vacations sold under his agency's leadership and his longstanding relationship with the cruise line.

On October 15, Consoli joined six other distinguished travel industry leaders in Amsterdam for Viking's official naming ceremony, where he was named godfather of the Viking Sekhmet.

"River cruising has been such an important part of my career, and Viking has been an incredible partner throughout that journey," said Consoli. "Being asked to serve as godfather of Viking Sekhmet is one of the greatest honors of my career. I have spent years introducing travelers to Viking and helping them experience the world in a meaningful way. To now have my name forever connected to a Viking ship—particularly one sailing the Nile—is incredibly special."

Consoli has built one of the most successful travel advisory businesses in the country, with a career centered on personalized service, extensive firsthand travel experience, and deep relationships throughout the cruise and luxury travel industries. His Atlanta-based agency serves thousands of travelers each year and has earned numerous national sales and industry honors.

In addition to being Viking's top global-producing travel advisor for the past decade, Consoli has become widely recognized for his expertise in river cruising and luxury travel. His success has been driven not simply by sales volume, but by a highly service-focused approach that has generated a large base of repeat clients and referrals.

Consoli's relationship with Viking dates to 2010, as river cruising was beginning its rapid growth in the North American market. Over the years, he has introduced thousands of travelers to Viking's river, ocean, and expedition products, and has developed a particularly strong following among travelers seeking highly personalized guidance before, during, and after their journeys.

Consoli's ship has a particularly meaningful destination for the Viking brand. The Viking Sekhmet is an 82-guest river ship purpose-built for sailing Egypt's Nile River. With 41 staterooms adorned in Viking's signature Scandinavian design, and an indoor-outdoor Aquavit Terrace, the ship is scheduled to sail Viking's popular 12-day Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary in November 2026. The itinerary explores thousands of years of Egyptian history, with experiences in Cairo, Luxor, the Valley of the Kings, Aswan and other destinations along the Nile.

"To have this connection to a ship that will introduce travelers to the history, culture and beauty of Egypt makes the honor even more meaningful," Consoli said. "Travel has an extraordinary ability to connect us to places and people, and Egypt is one of those destinations that stays with you long after you return home."

Consoli operates his agency as part of the Cruise Planners franchise network, where he has also achieved the distinction of becoming the organization's No. 1 producing franchise owner. His agency has received numerous honors across the cruise and luxury travel industries, reflecting its significant production with Viking and other leading travel brands.

"Michael's incredible business sense, deep industry knowledge and genuine passion for creating unforgettable experiences for his clients have made him an extraordinary part of the Cruise Planners family," said Michelle Fee, Founder and CEO of Cruise Planners. "His success demonstrates what can happen when an advisor truly knows the product, understands the client, and builds strong relationships throughout the industry. We could not be prouder to see Michael become part of Viking's history."

Consoli is a franchise owner with Cruise Planners, the nation's largest travel agency franchise network. Human-Animal Bond Reaches New High as the Science on the Health Benefits of Pets Goes Mainstream

HABRI's 2026 Human-Animal Bond Benchmark Survey finds rise in pet ownership connected to research-backed health benefits

WASHINGTON, Oct. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Human Animal Bond Research Institute (HABRI) today announced the results of its new benchmark survey of Americans showing that the health benefits of pet ownership are widely experienced and well known. Ninety-eight percent of pet owners reported at least one health benefit from pet ownership, and 62% of all Americans (pet owners and non-pet owners alike) have had a conversation about the health benefits of pets. These conversations have led to widespread awareness, with 97% of all Americans saying they are aware of at least one researched-backed health benefit of pet ownership.

The survey also found that 74% of Americans now own at least one pet, and another 15% intend to get one. Pet owners now have more pets than ever, with 64% reporting multi-pet households. The survey measured an average of three pets per household across all pet types, and an average of 2.2 pets per household when just counting dogs and cats.

"Nine in ten Americans either have a pet or want one, driven by the understanding that the bonds we share with our pets are good for our health," said Steven Feldman, President of HABRI. "HABRI's data provides evidence of a cultural tipping point, even those that don't own pets understand their benefits and want communities and businesses to support pet ownership."

Support for pet-inclusive policies across society is broad. Among all Americans, 83% said public spaces should be pet friendly; 81% said they would be more likely to buy products and services from pet-friendly businesses; and 80% say there should be fewer restrictions on pets in rental housing.

The Mental Health Benefits of Pets are Common Knowledge

The average American is aware of 18 different health benefits of pets, compared with 12 in 2021, the last time HABRI conducted this survey. The most widely recognized benefits are:

- Easing loneliness (92%)

- Reducing depression (89%)

- Reducing stress (88%)

- Helping people cope with difficult life situations (87%)

Knowledge of the Science Means Better Care for Pets

Knowing about the scientific research on the human-animal bond encourages positive pet care actions among current pet owners.

- 94% agree that knowledge of the research on the health benefits of pets makes them more likely to spend more time with their pets

- 91% agree that knowledge of the research on the health benefits of pets makes them more likely to maintain their pets' health, including regular check-ups with their veterinarian

- 88% said that knowledge of the research on the health benefits of pets makes them more likely to provide their pets with high-quality nutrition

- 91% said that knowledge of the research on the health benefits of pets makes them more likely to take better care of their pet overall

In addition, the strength of the bond shapes how people care for their pets. Pet owners with the strongest bonds are more likely to: have a veterinarian (94% vs. 86%) and keep up with preventive care such as vaccinations (84% vs. 77%).

Future Pet Owners are Driven by the Bond

The 15% of Americans who plan to get a pet in the future are motivated by what the human-animal bond will add to their lives: companionship (87%), emotional support (74%), less loneliness (71%), better mental health (68%) and better physical health (55%). Family life is a key driver of pet ownership as well, with 77% of parents saying that their children wanted pets.

For near-term pet acquisition, among those who said they planned to get a pet in the next six months, 81% had discussed the health benefits of pets and 73% said that someone had recommended that they get a pet for improved health.

Showing a strong outlook for dog ownership, future pet owners expressed their intention to acquire dogs (79%), cats (38%), fish (11%), small animals (10%), and birds (2%). Current pet owners who intend to add another pet in the future expressed a much stronger interest in cat acquisition (54%), with interest in acquiring dogs (58%), fish (11%), small animals (6%), and birds (7%).

Pet fostering was also shown to be a potential driver of pet ownership. Not only were 50% of all Americans interested in fostering, but 37% of future pet owners would consider fostering to see whether a specific pet is a good fit for them.

Barriers to Pet Ownership

Housing that prohibits or restricts pets is a significant structural barrier for potential pet owners, with almost one third (29%) worried about the challenge of finding pet-friendly housing. More than a quarter of potential pet owners who rent (27%) cited housing restrictions as a reason they don't have a pet. In addition, 31% of current pet owners that rent reported housing-related challenges and 14% reported that they had changed housing in order to get a pet.

Future pet owners point to the overall cost of pet ownership (37%) as a barrier to pet ownership. Thirty-six percent (36%) say they are waiting until the time is right to get a pet, showing a thoughtful approach to pet acquisition. This desire to be prepared also shows up with 52% of future pet owners being worried about the emotional toll of leaving their pets for an extended period of time and 33% who are concerned about balancing pet care with work and other responsibilities.

The survey shows that preparation by future pet owners is strongly connected to having an easier time once they get a pet, including research on the type of pet and the lifetime cost of having a pet. And once they have a pet, regular contact with a veterinarian is closely associated with pet owner success.

"HABRI is showing how deeply the human-animal bond is woven into our lives, which is why we need to help ensure that the benefits are available to all," Feldman added. "The survey points to clear ways we can better support that bond, including making society more pet-inclusive and helping new and existing pet owners to prepare for and enjoy an enriching life with pets."

Angels on Call Homecare Relaunches "Embracing Angels" Podcast to Transform Conversations About Aging, Caregiving, and Quality of Life

Hosted by CEO Robert Dalton, the podcast brings professional insight, personal stories, and meaningful conversations to families navigating aging and homecare.

PEEKSKILL, N.Y., Oct. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- What does it truly mean to age well? How can families prepare for changing care needs without sacrificing independence, dignity, or quality of life?

These questions drive the return of Embracing Angels, an educational podcast hosted by Robert Dalton, CEO of Angels on Call Homecare, an award-winning New York homecare organization specializing in Dementia, Parkinson's disease, and personalized aging-in-place services.

Originally introduced in 2024 with a focus on end-of-life experiences, Embracing Angels returns with an expanded mission: making conversations about aging, caregiving, and long-term care more accessible, informed, and meaningful.

"Over the years, I've seen how overwhelming it can be for families to navigate care decisions, especially when they don't know what questions to ask or where to turn," said Robert Dalton, CEO and podcast host. "I want this podcast to be a place where we talk openly about aging, share what we've learned, and help people feel better prepared for whatever comes next. These are conversations every family deserves to have."

Real Conversations. Diverse Voices. Meaningful Perspectives.

Embracing Angels explores subjects extending beyond traditional healthcare discussions, including aging in place, family caregiving, private-pay homecare, Dementia, Parkinson's disease, independence, and the emotional realities of supporting loved ones through life's transitions.

Through professional perspectives, personal narratives, and thoughtful discussions, the podcast seeks to connect healthcare expertise with lived experiences, offering listeners practical knowledge alongside stories that reflect the humanity behind care.

The relaunch episode, "Why We're Still Embracing Angels, and Private Pay Home Care Explained," addresses misconceptions surrounding homecare coverage and helps families understand important considerations when exploring care options.

Its return during Long-Term Care Planning Month reinforces the importance of education and proactive decision-making.

Extending a Legacy Beyond the Home

Founded in 2005 by Registered Nurse Pamela Fitzpatrick, Angels on Call Homecare has spent more than two decades advancing personalized homecare. Its distinction as the nation's first dual-accredited homecare provider in Dementia and Parkinson's care reflects its commitment to specialized education, clinical excellence, and meaningful quality of life.

"Redefining the aging experience requires more than advancing how care is delivered. It requires transforming how society understands aging itself," said Eric J. Dalton, Vice President of Angels on Call Homecare. "Knowledge creates confidence, and confidence empowers families to make decisions that reflect what matters most. Embracing Angels extends our belief that aging should never mean losing your identity, purpose, or voice. The conversations we start today can meaningfully shape the care people experience tomorrow."

Nest Health, Creator of Whole-Family In-Home Care for Medicaid, Names Peter Morrison First Chief Growth Officer to Lead Multistate Expansion

Former UnitedHealthcare, Centene and Pair Team leader joins as Nest strengthens its leadership bench for scale

NEW ORLEANS, Oct. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Nest Health, the creator of whole-family, in-home primary care for families on Medicaid, today named Peter Morrison its first Chief Growth Officer. Morrison has worked on both the health plan and care delivery sides of Medicaid. He will lead Nest's growth into new states and deepen its health plan partnerships in Arizona and Louisiana. Nest currently serves more than 50,000 Medicaid members across both states.

"Families don't experience healthcare one person at a time. A mom's blood pressure, her baby's checkup and her teenager's anxiety are connected, but the system splits them across separate doctors and separate charts. We built Nest so the household is the patient, and Peter is the right leader to bring that care to the families who need it next," said Dr. Rebekah Gee, Founder and CEO of Nest Health.

Nest is a new category of in-home care. It is the family's full primary care provider, not a referral layer or navigation service, and it cares for every family member from birth through adulthood in a single visit. No other provider does both.

Morrison brings more than 15 years of experience across the Medicaid ecosystem, from health plans and state agencies to care delivery startups. Most recently, he was SVP of Strategy and Head of Growth at Pair Team, an AI-enabled medical group serving Medicaid and Medicare populations, where he led state expansions and payer growth through value-based contracts. Earlier, he held senior roles at UnitedHealthcare and Centene, advised state Medicaid agencies at Deloitte and served as Chief Strategy Officer at school-based care provider Goodside Health. At Nest, he will lead growth strategy and execution as the company brings home-based care to more states.

"For too long, the best healthcare in America has been reserved for those who can pay for it. Nest is changing that, bringing human-led concierge primary care into the homes of families on Medicaid. I joined Nest because families deserve this level of care, and the model delivers on the quality and cost outcomes that will allow it to scale nationally," said Morrison.

Morrison joins a leadership team Nest has expanded in recent months to support its next stage of growth, including an internal promotion to COO and new hires across product, marketing and people:

- Kelsie Brandt, MSN, RN, CPN, Chief Operating Officer. One of Nest's earliest leaders, Brandt joined nearly four years ago and led the build of its whole-family care model, most recently as Chief Clinical Officer. Since becoming COO in April, she has moved her focus beyond the clinical model to the operations and systems Nest needs to grow. That includes a staged rollout now underway across five Northern Arizona counties that will reach an estimated 20,000 rural Medicaid members.

- Chris Baglieri, VP of Product & Technology. Baglieri has spent more than two decades building healthcare technology, including leading teams through hypergrowth, profitability and acquisition. At Omada Health, he led the organization behind its member and care team experiences, including mobile apps used daily by more than 100,000 members, through rapid growth and the company's IPO. At Nest, he leads product, engineering and data, rebuilding the platform around the whole family and building the AI tools that help care teams serve more families as the company scales.

- Michelle Spinale, VP of Marketing & Communications. Spinale has spent her career connecting creative, content and commercial strategy to drive growth at Disney, Time Warner, NBCUniversal, Harvard Health Publishing and healthcare startups, from launching new brands to reinventing established ones. At Nest, she leads marketing and communications to families, health plans, investors and talent, building a brand they recognize and trust.

- Jessica Maslow, Head of People. Maslow brings more than 20 years of human resources experience at large organizations such as Target and DaVita and at high-growth startups, including more than a decade in healthcare. She has focused on building strong teams, developing leaders and improving employee engagement and retention. At Nest, she leads the people strategy and talent practices that support the company's growth and its mission of delivering whole-family care.

About Nest Health

Nest Health is the first value-based primary care provider built for families. Nest created whole-family, in-home primary care for Medicaid, bringing medical, behavioral and social care to the entire household through local care teams in the home, at community sites closer to home and through wraparound virtual care. Nest serves more than 50,000 Medicaid members across Arizona and Louisiana. Learn more at www.nesthealth.com.
